A Little Bit of Red

This is the red velvet cake I made the other day. It uses 2 bottles of food coloring! 2 ounces! Geez! It was good though. I got the recipe from food network.

JOY! OH, JOY-ITH JOY!!!!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!

They brought back the Disney 2-D Animation Studios!!! Right now, in production, three Disney movies are in production. One is American Dog, which is a computer-animated movie, after that is a movie called "Rapunzel Unbraided," which is also 3-D, but it has musical numbers! Just like in the old Disney movies! And finally, The Frog Princess is a 2-D animated movie, with musical numbers! Yup, Disney is back in full force. It's in pre-production as of now, and the script is expected to be fininshed in fall of this year. Ron Clements and John Musker, the same guys who did Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, return for this film, and Alan Menken does the score! Yup, it may be a long wait, but at least we got our 2-D back!

Last Day of Freedom... : (

Today was my last day of freedom. Tomorrow I go back to school for another nine months. Today was picture day and this is my new school I.D. I can't believe I'm a junior. Time goes by too fast. Anyway I have to get my stuff together. Wish me luck for this new school year.

Lagging Behind...

Hey.

Hate to say it, but I'm lagging behind on Super Donald. I want to finish another comic right now, and I'm pretty lazy, I prefer spending hours drawing dragons and chibi people with big swords than drawing comics. I've actually been working on this comic for about 8 months now.... (shameshameshame) But as soon as I'm done I'll work on Super Donald.

In Chicago!

So I'm in Chicago now. The air has a faint smell of brownie batter. I don't know if that's the smell of decomposing trash or the Chicago air, or simply, the smell of brownie batter. Hmmm. I don't know.

Last night we went to a Brazilian steak place where it's like a buffet, except the food comes to you. The waiters bring you different cuts of meat and you can pick and choose what you want. The filet mignon was definitely my favorite. Of course it may be the only time that I have filet mignon... Check it out: www.fogodechao.com Expensive, but tasty. Thanks expense account!

Today I have been running around the hotel doing various go-for chores. Not bad... but moving books is tiring, especially when boxes can weigh up to forty pounds. We have the opening reception tonight, and sessions will start tomorrow....

We found a letter lying on the ground when we were walking around the park, so we turned it into a musical. It weirdly took forever to compress, but I'm going to figure out what happened then get it into better formats and see if I can get it onto YouTube etc just in case it doesn't work for folks.

The Home of Deep Dish Pizza

I leave for Chicago on Sunday. It's my first "real" business trip. Real because the company is going to pay for everything. Business because I will be everyone's gopher. Running around making copies and getting presentations from Powerpoint slides to projector presentations, and smiling all the while. Although, I was told that the crazy old guy who is the publisher of biology books, the list I oversee, said that the flyers I made for sales packets was "super". According to my boss that's supposed to be a big compliment. Anyway... I'm going to Chicago. Let me know if there are any special requests. It won't be like I'm on vacation, but I am bringing my camera with me, just in case there are interesting things or people to capture and laugh at later on in life.

Stephie said that she would Clean Sweep my room. I guess I need to. Haha.
